New Summer Fabric Has Arrived!!!!


Truck load of NEW fabrics at special prices. Come in and plan all kinds of new outfits for summer and the start of the school year. Lots of new Fabric Finders are here. The Pink & Brown and Blue & Brown Tri Checks are back!! Flamingo, crabs and watermelons plus Auburn & Alabama.

We will be CLOSED July 1st to 7th. See you on the 8th of July.

Look for a BIG SUMMER SALE in mid JULY!!!!! Seersuckers, madras-like plaids, plisse, oxford cloth , tropical prints in pink and green and more. There is still a lot of hot weather left.

BIG KIDS CAMP – Anne’s Class

9 Year olds and up - Must have completed 3rd Grade
July 8th , 9th, & 10th
Make a cute purse or bag and decorate to make it uniquely you.
Time: 10:30 to 12:30 Fee: $50.00 plus supplies

SUMMER CRAFT CAMP FOR KIDS – Elaine’s Class
5 to 8 year olds – July 15th, 16th, & 17th

1st and 2nd Grade – We will make a fabric necklace, decorate flip flops with ribbon and decorate a T-shirt.
Time: 10:30 to 12:30
Fee: $90.00 (Includes all supplies)

Must register and pay fee to hold your place – space is limited so call and register you and a friend.

June

21st- T-shirt with Smocked insert – Learn to put a small smocked insert into a T-shirt or sweat shirt. This is an easy way to create smocked garments for your children without having to make the entire garment.
Time: 10:30 to 12:30 Cost: $30.00

28th Bottoms Class – Learn how to make great “Bottoms” to go with any type of girls dress or top or boys shirts.
Time: 10:30 to 3:00. Cost $30.00

July

12th Beginning Sewing – Using the Children’s Corner “Lucy” pattern (for girl) or “Johnny” pattern (for a boy) learn these techniques to create a simplea-line dress/jumper or romper. (We will use “Holly and Hunter “ pattern as a substitute)
Time: 10:30 to 4:00 Cost: $40.00

19th Lucy’s and Lillians – Choose one of the variations on display and make it.
Time: 10:30 to 4:00pm Cost: $40.00

26th Bishop Construction – Using the “Baby Bishops” or “Basic Bishops” pattern by Cherry Williams, learn the techniques to create a bishop dress. (Placket, neck band, piping, elastic on sleeves etc.)
Time: 10:30 to 4pm Cost: $40.00

August

16th Lucy – Use Auburn and Alabama fabrics to make that special outfit for the games. Support your team
Time: 10:30am to 4pm Cost: $40.00

21st Heirloom Bonnet – Learn heirloom techniques and leave with a finished Bonnet.
Time: 10am to 1pm Cost: $30.00

September

11th Lucy with Pleats – Modify the Lucy pattern to add pleats and give it a new look.
Time: 10am to 3:30pm Cost $40.00

October 9 is the start of the Heirloom Project. Sign up early as there will be limited space for this class. More details to follow.
