New Summer Fabric Has Arrived!!!!

Look for a BIG SUMMER SALE in mid JULY!!!!! Seersuckers, madras-like plaids, plisse, oxford cloth , tropical prints in pink and green and more. There is still a lot of hot weather left.

BIG KIDS CAMP – Anne’s Class

9 Year olds and up - Must have completed 3rd Grade
July 8th , 9th, & 10th
Make a cute purse or bag and decorate to make it uniquely you.
Time: 10:30 to 12:30 Fee: $50.00 plus supplies

SUMMER CRAFT CAMP FOR KIDS – Elaine’s Class
5 to 8 year olds – July 15th, 16th, & 17th

1st and 2nd Grade – We will make a fabric necklace, decorate flip flops with ribbon and decorate a T-shirt.
Time: 10:30 to 12:30
Fee: $90.00 (Includes all supplies)

Must register and pay fee to hold your place – space is limited so call and register you and a friend.

June

21st- T-shirt with Smocked insert – Learn to put a small smocked insert into a T-shirt or sweat shirt. This is an easy way to create smocked garments for your children without having to make the entire garment.
Time: 10:30 to 12:30 Cost: $30.00

28th Bottoms Class – Learn how to make great “Bottoms” to go with any type of girls dress or top or boys shirts.
Time: 10:30 to 3:00. Cost $30.00

July

12th Beginning Sewing – Using the Children’s Corner “Lucy” pattern (for girl) or “Johnny” pattern (for a boy) learn these techniques to create a simplea-line dress/jumper or romper. (We will use “Holly and Hunter “ pattern as a substitute)
Time: 10:30 to 4:00 Cost: $40.00

19th Lucy’s and Lillians – Choose one of the variations on display and make it.
Time: 10:30 to 4:00pm Cost: $40.00

26th Bishop Construction – Using the “Baby Bishops” or “Basic Bishops” pattern by Cherry Williams, learn the techniques to create a bishop dress. (Placket, neck band, piping, elastic on sleeves etc.)
Time: 10:30 to 4pm Cost: $40.00

August

21st Heirloom Bonnet – Learn heirloom techniques and leave with a finished Bonnet.
Time: 10am to 1pm Cost: $30.00

September

11th Lucy with Pleats – Modify the Lucy pattern to add pleats and give it a new look.
Time: 10am to 3:30pm Cost $40.00

October 9 is the start of the Heirloom Project. Sign up early as there will be limited space for this class. More details to follow.

IT’s SUMMER CAMP TIME……….We have several cute projects planned for our summer kids camps. Call the shop at 987-1744 to reserve you place in summer camps.


The Summer Big Kids Camp is for older kids (must have completed 3rd grade ) will be on Tues, Wed and Thur. June 17 ,18 ,& 19 with Ann Otts. Ann has a really cute project planned. 10:30am to 12:30pm We have scheduled a second week for this camp on July 8,9,10 for those who have a conflict with the first week.
Cost is $50 plus supplies. Fabrics and notions should be purchased at Eliz. Anne’s.

Summer Kids Craft Camp will be on June 24,25,26 Tues thru Thur.. This camp is for the younger kids( 1st and 2nd graders) with Elaine. Several cute projects are planned, some sewing is used with these. Class fee is $90.00 includes kits and all supplies. Older kids may attend both camps.

We have in some new embroidered appliqué designs from Ginabugs . Come in and check out the darling appliqués for summer clothes. You can purchase a CD with these designs on it. Very simple designs and lots of fun.

Another new item in the shop is a Baby Sling. Just buckle this around you shoulder and there is a comfy spot for the baby. Keeps your hands free. Our customer Rebecca Wiser makes these. PLACE ORDERS FOR THESE.

We have the Seersucker Embroidered fabrics with the crabs, watermelon and flamingos. These make cool and breezy pillowcase dresses or a beach photo dress. This is hot stuff………..come in before it’s all gone.
